David Vargas Lowy, a pediatric neurologist at multiple New Hampshire institutions, was arrested in December 2025 for the abuse of a minor. Since his arrest, more victims have come forward.
During an exam, he made sexually charged comments and inappropriately touched a 17-year-old female patient while they were alone. He then reportedly tried to cover up his behavior by altering medical records and followed up by sending her explicit text messages.
Since his arrest, more patients have come forward with a variety of abuse claims. Victims report unnecessary touching of their breasts during EKG exams, pressing up against them and becoming aroused, and attempting to groom them through Facebook.
Notably, Dr. Lowy had his medical license temporarily suspended by the New Hampshire Board of Medicine for the second time in three months following additional complaints about his behavior.
